She ran into a small house with no windows that had fallen apart long ago. Alllana tripped on a wooden plank that was sticking out of the ground and fell forward, landing on something soft. She came face to face with the pilot, who had been dead for hundreds of years. The pilot's eyes were set in a look of shock and his body was covered in tiny burns. Alllana sighed, feeling this was her fault for allowing herself to get caught up in this race. She stood up and looked around her. The house seemed empty other than the dead pilot, but she could hear whispers coming from behind one of the walls. As she got closer she saw a small hole in the wall and crawled through it.She found herself in a storage room where there was still some food and water left over. She ate and drank quickly, thinking she would only be in here for a few hours, but then the sounds of cries and whispers got louder and louder. Alllana curled herself into the corner and tried her best to make herself as small as possible. She heard sounds of running feet behind her door and it began to shake violently from the force of people pushing against it. The plaster around her started to crackle like fire as someone started to lay wooden planks on top of the door.
