An exhibition titled “After 'Freedom of Expression'” attempts to address Japan's history of censorship. The original statue of a comfortable woman will be revived at the 2019 Aichi Tyrennale Festival.
The statue features a young girl sitting in a hanbok. which is the national dress of Korea Looking ahead with calm eyes, not smiling. She walked barefoot with her hands neatly folded into her lap. And she clearly
looks like someone quietly embraces her shoulder.The statue depicting these comforting women is a hotly debated issue between Japan and South Korea.In 2015, Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida announced that
it would donate about $8.3 million to the Survivor's Fund. In return, South Korea was asked to accept Japan's recognition of the crime and refrain from further censure
